Tokyo, Japan – June 26 2024 – The Japanese consultancy firm, QUNIE CORPORATION (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeki Yamaguchi), today begins offering the CSRD Compliance Support Service.

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a sustainability disclosure regulation that came into force in the European Union in January 2024, mandates companies to identify the impact of their business activities on society and the environment, and to disclose this information on a regular basis. The CSRD requires companies to identify the social and environmental impact of their business activities and to disclose this information on a regular basis. The regulation is expected to apply to Japanese companies operating above a certain size in the EU as early as fiscal year 2025, making it even more important for companies to strengthen their sustainability information disclosure in line with CSRD regulations.

In this service, QUNIE and NTT DATA Spain's sustainability experts work together to provide comprehensive support for the CSRD compliance process in three steps, from analyzing the current situation based on CSRD to formulating an action plan. This enables Japanese companies to prepare and improve information based on the disclosure standards required by the CSRD and to achieve compliance within the timeframe set by the EU.
